The Castle is open on Easter and Easter Monday, April 25, May 1, June 2, August 15, November 1, December 8 and 26, January 6.
The Castle is closed on December 25 and January 1.

LAST ADMISSION 45 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING TIME.

From January 7, 2026 to February 23, 2026 the Castle will be open from Friday to Sunday (timetable: 9:00-12:00, 14:00-16:00) and will be closed from Monday to Thursday; it will be open, by reservation only, for groups of 25 or more people, also from Tuesday to Thursday.

In case of exceptionally adverse weather conditions, the opening time may change.

The planimetry of the fortress
The Castle monumental complex shows a dynamic choreography which comprises beauty and functionality at the same time: the walls planimetric layout, their reciprocal height, shape and width had been actually conceived according to precise criteria of functionality and utility.
